Requesting Help: Game Glitch?? >> Desmond Stuck in Sequence 1
So I've just downloaded/installed Assassins Creed Revelations and as per the title, I'm having trouble getting Desmond to move in the very first sequence/as soon as I reach checkpoint. I'm playing on my PC and everything seems to be going fine... I press enter, I go through the flashbacks, I wind up on the beach, it says "checkpoint reached" and then...nothing. I know my keyboard and mouse are working fine since I'm able to use both to change the graphics settings

BTW: I've tried turning vsync off and on to see if either would make a difference, I've also turned the graphics down to 60hz -- neither solution seemed to do anything). But no matter what I do, I can't move Desmond. I also can't seem to change any of the controls??

I've restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I've also tried playing in offline mode/airplane mode. And the same thing keeps happening -- Desmond just stands there on the beach staring into nothingness and no instructions pop up on the screen for me to do anything.

Update/Edit: I've looked online for help on this subject, but I can't seem to find anything aside from the idea to delete a file called "SystemDetection.dll" but I've looked in my Steam and UbiSoft folders for this file—heck, I scanned my entire C-drive!—and it doesn't exist so I obviously can't delete it.

Any and all suggestions to fix this bug would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT/UPDATE! I fixed the problem, and let me just say I feel like a dummy! Apparently the game automatically had it on the wrong controller setting. Once I put it on "keyboard and mouse" instead of whatever else it was on (I think it was the last one--external keyboard USB or something, i forget what it actually said) everything worked as planned.

P.s.: I'm leaving this discussion here for anyone who might encounter the same issue
