In the entire AC series, Does the endgame armor *ever* look good?

I tend to enjoy the gameplay in this series (excluding AC1 which I think is tedious beyond any point of enjoyment).

However, I've now played through ACII, Brotherhood, and Revelations, going out of my way to collect the best equipment the games have to offer,and in every case I have opted instead to don weaker armor because the "best" armor in any given game looks like utter ♥♥♥♥. ACII's Altair Armor was at least passable, but could not be dyed which devalued its existence as far as I'm concerned.

I have been working my way through the AC series, do I have *any* character customization to look forward to or am I going to have to grin and bear my way through several more ugly armor sets before I reach the end of the AC series? Do I *ever* get to play a badass-looking master assassin?

Only the Ezio trilogy has endgame unique armors. Well, there are 2 sets in Black Flag as well but I never bother with them. There rest of the games just have various outfits that improve your stats.
