Question about assassin recruits

So Im still rather early in the game and I notice that even though I already have a maximum number of assassins I can still do assassin recruit missions. Where these new recruits go? And do the assassin recruit quests ever end or are unlimited?

There are something like 4 recruiting missions, once they're done there aren't others anymore. (I haven't tried it, but I doubt you can recruit these assassins when replaying the memory).

I believe the assassins recruited thanks to these are lost if you already have maximal amount of assassins.

These missions give better level assassins, however once you will have empty slots, some random events will allow you to recruit lvl1 assassins again.

You can attribute your Assassin's to the Towns upon their mission's map and then they can be used to also do that town's missions apart your regular list of recruits / Assassin Masters that you've got upon your summoning roster when playing upon Istanbul and the other locations where you can use'em. (I don't recall correctly but I think that even upon the Templar controlled underground town you can summon those to assist you.)
