Haghia Sophia hard jump [Solved]

So I'm in the Haghia Sophia, trying to get the special armour, however I can't make a jump.

The jump is located some time after the first checkpoint of the level.

It is the sidejump. You get there by performing a long jump from a lantern, climbing up on some wooden box, then jumping on a beam from a fence.

After that I climb up on the wooden wall on the left, then I'm trying to jump to the wooden platform opposite if it. However it seems like that for some reason Ezio can't grab it.

I've tried multiple times, even with the hookblade, but it still cannot be reached. I know I'm a noob, but can someone give me some advice?

Hi, I don't know if you already solved this, but you've got to make sure Ezio is fully to the right of that scafolding you have to climb before the jump. Also, don't press any directional input. Just the back eject command.

Thanks for the answer.
Managed to solve it. Turns out, that the game had lied, and you shouldn't hold/press "S" at the jump, only Mouse+Space.
