Alright, what the hell is up with the 'Masked Soldiers'?

You can't kick them, you can't counter them, you can't outrun them, you can't take their weapon, you can't kill them with a combo, you can't stun them, you can't knock them, you can't knife them, literally the only way of killing this enemy is to spam LMB (left mouse button).

Like I know it's Ubisoft, I really do, but this is some of the dumbest enemy design ever.
You can't lie to me and tell me this was play tested before release.

You can counter them. You just can't COUNTER KILL them. They are tough enemies, almost boss-level. The most efficient way to deal with them is to use counter-STEAL with your hook blade (while blocking, press Tool button). It stuns them, and you can hit them, removing 1/3rd of their HP. Or you can just counter them 3 times in a row.

I personally had so much issues trying to perform this in my playthrough, I thought it shall be possible, but in my case it really wasn't.

Manage to find other ways, game gladly allows you use multiple different weapons and gadgets to take down your enemies.

It was just frustrating when the game decided to put multiple enemies of this type against me, where I'd just need to dodge and spam LMB.

You can also attack them via chain kill but it won't instantly kill them but it's helpful
