[IGNORE]How do we actually parry?
I don't remember when I played the game in PS3 years ago, but if I am not mistaking it with something else, you could push the O/B button before the enemy flashes an attack on you and parry them.

I looked up online and they say only to hold the guarding button and then when they attack you to quickly press Square/X button to counter attack/kill. I don't understand that as it doesn't make any sense, what's the guarding button in the first place? I've been pressing buttons here and there in combat. lol

On computer they said it's left mouse hold and right mouse click, I wonder if there's anything similar combination to the controller, the in game settings has nothing to show me where/how to parry.

Right Trigger for High Profile actions. Hold High Profile during fights to block/deflect. While in a defensive stance, press X(Square) to perform a Counter Kill/Disarm.
When in doubt, study UI tn the top right corner and see how the commands change in Low/High Profile like Gentle Push/Grab or Fast Walk/Sprint in both in and out of combat.

And I highly suggest you read the User Manual (Database menu). It has everything you need to learn controls and other useful tips.

And playing the original Assassin's Creed wouldn't hurt. It has amazing tutorials. And it is a great experience to replay it before starting Revelations.

Other way around on PC (by default). Right mouse hold (to guard) then left mouse click as the enemy swings. iirc can also press Shift instead of left-click to execute a hook-blade-throw.

Still can't find the parry button, I know it's there. lol
Using controller btw, would never ever want to play these games with kb/m.

What about controller? I am not playing this with kb/m lol I really like how the controller feels, honestly.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Funny thing is, I played back in PS3 the first AC, and from there I kept playing all of AC games for years, but I got used SO much on the simple O/B button for parrying in these games lately, that I completely forgot about the AC and AC Ezio Trilogy. My bad there, you speak true, when I changed profiles earlier I did noticed the difference in new actions, thanks for telling me, now I'll have it in my mind. I remember the flashing bar from enemies doing an action that I can either parry or simply dodge if it flashes red, now I'll have my mind on that, thanks a lot.

Finally, someone who does remember and could give me an answer about controller and not keyboard this time. Thank you, again! I guess I am way too old and I forgot about the older mechanics. Shame on me! haha
