Video Games are not and cannot be official canon in film franchises. INCLUDING Jurassic Park: The Game. Imagine in Ten years when Jurassic Park is still being celebrated but this game is all but forgotten and no one can buy or maybe even run it anymore...
Jurassic Park: The Game is simply NOT canon. It is NOT an official sequel to the original film.
Telltale bought Universal's support for the project and did everything they could to deliver an authentic Jurassic Park experience, even going so far as writing a story woven into the events of the film. However it is no more a true sequel to the film than any glorified Fan-Fic is.
Telltale added characters and animals that weren't in the film and weren't even being kept on Isla Nublar.
When Jurassic Park states there were only 3 Raptors being housed on the island during the events of the film then how dare a third party call that a lie. NO other living Raptors were known about by ANY Jurassic Park staff. They had no reason to keep anything from the group. In fact they were very open about their failings, especially with the Raptors. Sorkin is a garbage character tacked on by Telltale so they could have Raptors feature in their game, nothing more.
Telltale replaced the character of the head Veterinarian, Gerry Harding, turning him into a younger, more handsome hero. He is a completely different Human Being and in a videogame where one can make anything look like anything, there is no excuse to change the character's appearance. They also gave him a daughter that was apparently visiting the island for Daddy/Daughter day even though it was under official investigation and all other personnel on the Island were being evacuated due to the incoming Hurricane. It is also confirmed that Sarah Harding is his daughter.

'Rexy' was torn up pretty bad by the 'Big One' in Jurassic Park. Yet no wounds were present on the Telltale story Rex. Therefore not canon.

There was NO marine reptile compound on Isla Nublar. It has never featured on any film map or merchandise of Isla Nublar prior to the construction of the Lagoon at Jurassic World.

There was also no evidence or mention anywhere, ever of an aviary on Isla Nublar prior to it's construction for Jurassic World. Therefore not canon.

There was also no giant roller coaster on the island. Therefore not canon.

Isla Nublar was not fire bombed in the films. Therefore not canon.


JP: The Game is NOT official canon to the Jurassic Park films. It is a spin off like 'Tresspasser' or the Topps comic official continuation series where Muldoon lives.

I have also read all of the documentations so JPTG is canon.

This game is going off of movie canon, not book canon.
