This game goes unfathomably hard

I started my Wolfenstein journey where it all began—Wolfenstein 3D. Back then, BJ Blazkowicz was just a collection of angry pixels mowing down Nazis in hallways that looked like they were designed in MS Paint. Then came Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which cranked up the intensity, the weird science, and my childhood fear of undead Nazi super soldiers.

And then The New Order hit me like a sledgehammer wrapped in patriotism.

This game is an absolute rollercoaster. It’s not just about shooting Nazis (though don’t worry, there’s a lot of that and it’s glorious). It’s about heartbreak, resistance, insane sci-fi tech, robot dogs, dual-wielding shotguns, and somehow... feeling things? Like emotional things?

BJ went from a silent doom-guy prototype to a full-on tragic war hero with philosophical one-liners and a stare that could punch through walls. The story is dark, bold, and surprisingly human—without ever forgetting that, yes, you're here to turn Nazi mechs into scrap metal.

Gunplay? Satisfying. Level design? Gorgeous. Music? Punches harder than BJ.
Do I miss the days of flat sprites and key hunting? Sure. But The New Order proves that even a classic can evolve into something powerful, moving, and still completely unhinged in the best way.

Hra zcela naprosto a s přehledem naplnila moje očekávání, která jsem vůči ní měl. Je to v nejlepším slova smyslu "stará dobrá řežba", ale kultivovaná hodně zajímavým příběhem. Hru i příběh jsem si vyloženě užil, ale dosbírávání předmětů a luštění kódu už jsem si odpustil. Tahle hra má největší šťávu, dokud je sycená dějem. VŘELE DOPORUČUJU!
