I remember beating this way back before I got it on steam and boy oh boy has this gameplay and some of these gunfights age like aboslute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no wonder no one remembers this one and only remembers the cutscene slop that is colossus and the insane failure of young blood

I replay this game quite regularly, especially this year. Don't know what you find bad about the gunfights, the gunplay itself is very fast, responsive and satisfying. Other than graphical fidelity and gore, the new colossus was a downgrade tho. Never touching youngblood.

What's your opinion of the Old Blood?

Old Blood I haven't actually played yet but heard it's more enjoyable from people like me who found New Order kind of disappointing when coming back to it.

The gunplay while satisfying at base kind of gets annoying at certain point in the game and while I used to like this game alot (and I still like the motives) it just ends up being kind of unfun to play on higher difficulties? You may call that a skill issue but I had no problem playing it before but for some reason on this version of the game it was just more annoying than anything. I also agree with alot of reviewers that spamming E gets pretty tiresome.

I know you've asked for my opinion on Old Blood but I had to put this in since I can't even pint point what exactly frustrates me but the combat is just really unfun sometimes, maybe some of the tankier enemies are at fault here. They were less healthy in my memory...

Skill issue? I just lean shoot from behind cover 9 times out of 10 and that makes it easy

It really does but it makes things tedious and sometimes it ends up being a slog trying to dome 1-2 enemies if there's distance or heavy armor at play, and the ammo is just a smidge stingy for distance. Pretty much my gripe with the game.

I played it for the first time recently and I thought it was amazing.
jfc how bad 2 was though... disgusting.
