Can't move character after Chapter 1 intro

Game does not seem to recognise keyboard strokes, but it works perfectly fine in menu. The only key that works in game is the escape key. Any ideas on a fix?

Go into the settings and disable controler. The game is looking for input signals from a controler and not keyboard and mouse. This threw me at first as I have never used a controler with my PC so had no idea that W:TNO would default to controler and sulk if it coudn't find one. AR

I've tried that but still doesn't work, it seems to still think that there is a controller attached. Any way to force it to recognise the keyboard?

Only after I set the controller to none did I have a key binding option appear. I don't know any other way I am sorry. Did you possibly undo the controller setting when exiting from the option? Only thing I can think of. AR

I'm in the same boat.
I just loaded it up for the first time ever and can't move at all.
Doesn't matter what I rebind the movement keys to, I'm just stuck in the middle of the cockpit and can't complete the tutorial. I've even tried plugging in my Logitech G13 Gamepad and still no love. However if I rebind walk forward to a mouse key, it works fine.

Tried verifying cache, alt+tabbing and back, no change

I've tried disabling the controller option to no effect.
I've played 100's of games with my current keyboard/rig setup and never had a problem like this.

What's everyone's specs?
I've got an 87 key keyboard and a windows 10 machine (upgraded from windows 7).

Does W:TNO work with Win 10? I haven't tried it yet so I can't say either way. About half the games I have tried since installing Win 10 don't work. AR

I haven't hit any issues yet with any game I've loaded up. If anything, they play BETTER on windows 10. Lords of the Fallen, Witcher 3, Darkest Dungeon, all of them work fine and at better framerates. The wierdest thing is that as I mentioned, I can hit ESC and have it exit to the menu and other keystrokes (I think it's the hit E or C to continue at one point) all work fine. It's JUST within the game itself.

I even tried commenting out lines in the joystick.cfg and the config.cfg (can';t remember the name offhand, but it lists all the default keybindings), but no love.

My last option is to try a different keyboard (in case it's picky about 87keys), but that's about it.
