Lunar base mission is unplayable.

The lunar base mission after re-entering the base from the moon surface was crashing, found some tweaks and got it to load, but it is unplayable, fps is down to 10 fps a second. Trudged my way through it, got on the elevator to go up and it crashes yet again.

I WILL NEVER BUY A GAME FROM BETHESDA EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game is not made by Betesda but by Machine games. Game runs excellent on my machine, haven't or had a single issue with crashing or with lunar base mission. Giving your system specs, OS and current gpu driver would be helpful.

yep i have the same problem,but the strange thing is,the game works fine no problems but when entering lunar base the game get a big lag and it crasht.
so i got only this problem @ the lunar base.

Yeah you should not play this with AMD graphics card. With any OpenGL game it's better to be played with Nvidia.

I don't think that it is Machine Games' fault. It was a nightmare to play Rage on AMD cards. This game uses the same engine and the problem is here again. iD software probably did something horribly wrong, when they were creating this engine. Or they simply didn't bother to optimize for AMD.

I played both wolfenstiein and rage on a 6850 and no issues at all. So thats not the issue directly, yes nvidia does handle opengl better, but does not mean you cannot use amd, it just means that for open gl games, you need a slightly more powerful amd card than an nvidia card to get the same fps etc. (and some people have had to fiddle with drivers...again some people not all, again they ran fine for me).

Noticed no performance issues at lunar, or anywhere for that matter. I am not saying your amd is not doing it, but its possibly something else interfering (background program, out of date driver, gfx setting etc) that is having a knock on effect.

RAGE ran like a charm on my 6870. Played Wolf on my R9 280 and it played great.
