They Beta key or Registration Code

Maybe something is in plain view, but I bought the game and never got an email about a code or beta key. Now, I know that the beta itself isn't out yet and won't be for a while, but are the keys out there for the Steam download of this game. I can't find it whatsoever, no emails or anything. Or is the key in the game itself?

Those that pre ordered the game via steam were automaticly entered into the DOOM beta. If you bought a retail copy then the beta code was on a piece of paper inside the DVD case. At this point, the date has long passed on being able to sign up for the beta via the pre order. I'm sure there will be more beta options in the future.
