Wolfenstein: The New Order

Can't finish the Assylum level because of an unkillable drone.
So it is pretty straight forward, when I open the door of the assylum to escape it after Annia got captured and put in the car, I kill all guys, then the tank comes in, drop a drone, but the drone go straight to the ground after launch and is then, unkillable.
So I can't progress in the level anymore...

I tried killing it before it reach underground, which I did, but then, it launch 2 on opposite side with the same bug, making it impossible to kill them this time.
That is super frustrating not gonna lie, especially because I finished this game 5 times before, and never had any issue.
Even restarting the whole level don't fix it.

According to the wiki this happens with unlocked framerates.

Yeah cap fps to the default 60.

If you play unlocked drone can go out of bounds.

If you really want/need to play beyond 60fps. The lossless scaling app that now includes Frame Generation works well with the Wolfenstein games. Nice smooth 120+fps and no issues with engine only liking 60fps type glitches.

Oh nice, I will try it and tell you if it work !
But make sense.

Ok so first, there are no options to cap FPS :steamsad:, the only one maybe being VSync, but when capping my monitor to 60 FPS manually, the drone still rush to the ground and went through it...
I even try to start the game on my secondary monitor which is a 60Hz one, and the issue is identical.

Really doesn't make sense. Especially since it is not a "rare" bug for me, as it happended 30 times in a row after all my testing.

Ok so after a couple of reshearches, I discover this command that can fix it.
id5Tweaker_SetFpsLimit 60
And it worked, at least the first time. Not after, until I restart the game and went through the section this time.

So if you have this issue, type this command in the console (open by pressing Ctrl+Alt+² or ~ for qwerty I think)

If you're using Id5Tweaker, be careful with the framerate. Anything over 90 breaks the game. Set it to something like 75 depending on your refresh rate.
