Just promotional songs? I don't recall them playing at all during the game. A few others too.

I did notice that not all of them were played during the actual game, so I guess you must be right in saying that the rest were just promotional. They were all used on the Neumond Records limited edition record though, so I guess they just didn't really know where to suitably fit all of the songs into parts of the game.

Apparently some of the artists didn't want to have their work be related to Nazi imagery.

At least that's what I read on the wikipedia article of the game's soundtrack.

It's a shame because some of the song are really well made.
