Xbox One Controller Issues with Wolfenstein
Hey all,

For a long time I was using an Xbox 360 controller to play Wolfenstein, but I just upgraded to the Xbox One controller for my PC yesterday and tried it out.

After about 2-3 minutes of play, the game will stop recognizing controller input and just... sit there. At this point, my keyboard and mouse will not respond either.

I end up having to force close the game and relaunch to fix the issue.

Other games that do this: Dishonored, Skyrim.

None of the other games in my library seem to break like this.

Any idea whats up?

Is that driver different from this one?

It seems yours is for a different region.

I discovered my issue:

I had the Xbox One controller plugged in to a non-powered USB port. The controller was "going to sleep" a few moments into gameplay, it seems.

When i switched over to a powered USB port, my issue went away.

Huzzaaaaah.
