Can't make the jump to the wing

I can't jump far enough, tried 50 times so far. The game crashes after i fall off the wing every time. So much fun.

Back all the way up and get a good run, and jump somewhat sideways. you want to hit the wing and slide towards the door. Don't jump straight at it. Hope that helps

I was having the same issue minus the crashes. I finally made the jump after waiting until I started taking damage from fire. So maybe waiting a little bit for the plane to get into a better position helps? Good luck.

Solved the game crashing on checkpoint restart by updating to latest Catalyst drivers (Radeon 7950)...but I still can't make the jump.

I tried a new keyboard and it worked on the first attempt.

after hundreds of failed attempts I tried a different keyboard and it worked first time! There is not a damn thing wrong with the first keyboard but I have now confirmed that a sprint jump in this game is IMPOSSIBLE on that perfectly good keyboard because I again had to switch boards to jump across the courtyard. Now somebody owes me two hours of my life back and the idiot Spacecataz who told us not to suck at games has a lot of apologizing to do

Some keyboards have bad matrix and as a result no more than two keys pressed at the same time can be registered (cuz they're sucky keyboards only for typing). So get a good one that supports 4 keys pressed down at the same time.

I have tried this approx 100 times and can't make the jump...I'm not buying a new keyboard just because of this...I really doubt it's because my keyboard can't register more than 2 buttons as I have played dozens of FPS games with this keyboard and many of them have run/jump sequences...

You can make the jump easier if you stand as close to the right as possible. In other words you have to; 1) stand to the right inside the plane you are in, 2) wait for the other plane to move closer to you, and 3) jump toward the left which is toward the front of the wing. And yes, it needs to be a "running jump".

Also make sure your not holding a turret type gun because you can`t run with them.

This jump is right near the beginning of the game where you don't have weapons yet

you sprint key (shift) or jump key (space bar) might be broken
