Chapter 1 : can't jump out the window

after hotwiring, I jump in but can't move/jump/etc to the outside. It also does not look like it renders properly. And a moment later I die from the blast. Anyone know if I am doing something wrong or what I need to change?

for anyone having this problem, it appears to be the subtitles. there are synchronization problems and I think it messes up the timing. turn them off and retry, although you may need to restart the chapter.That is what worked for me.

I'm having the exact same problem. I tried that with the subtitles and still I can't jump. I tried sliding then jumping still won't do it. Man this game with these bugs, it is not a finished product.

Same here. Does anyone know how to fix this? The fix with subtitles didn't work.

Are you turning them all off including the foreign subtitles?

I'm having exactly the same problem. I just created a new discussion topic at Bethesda's Wolfenstein forum to see if someone is able to help out. However, at this point I've watched so many walk-throughs that I'm positive this is just a bug --not a gamer's mistake. The bad news is that Bethesda says they do not plan on adding any kind of patch release to their development road map. I figured it out it is the FOV in options video tab changed it from 80 to 100 and I was able to jump through the window np. I know you probably won't read this and have been done with the game for some time but hopefully others will read this who are having the same problem.

I'm also having the same issue but I'm on an Xbox so I can't try half of the things that are suggested. Does anyone know how to fix this on console?
