Stuck in the first mission

After the bomber crashes I kill the robot dogs. Destroy the bunker turret, but when I decend into the room below the turret I can't openm the door. I watched someone elses walkthrough video. He shot someones legs he saw ithrough the grate at the bottom of the door, and the doopr opened. In my game I see a shadow through the grate in the door, but nothing I can shoot. Is there something I am missing. I'm stuck in this room. Can't get the door open, and can't go back out the way I came in. Any idea's would be appreciated.

You have to "lean" in order to see his feet.

you have to crouch down and shoot the guys feet. should give you the tip on screen.

I'll try again, but I was crouched right in front of the door, and from different spots in the room trying to see the feet.

there is a normal crouch and a even more crouched. It's stupid but yea... normal crouch isn't crouched enough lol

Ok I figured it out. Uou can't just crouch. While crouching you hold the leand cover mode and look down. This makes you get down even lower. I never did see any popup help though. ***EDIT*** You must have been typing that Vaughn Whiskey as I made this reply. Thanks for the input.

I keep getting killed by the panzerhund inside the crashed bomber. There's a tight corridor that you are trapped in, with one end blocked by flames and the other blocked by the panzerhund. Where is the way out? Obviously the combat knife won't hurt the panzerhund, so what are you supposed to do? Any solutions would be appreciated.

Well, at least you got that far. I'm apparently an idiot and can't figure out how to "slide." God, have I gotten this old?

Wait, slide, you say? That just might be the answer to getting through the other end of the corridor before the panzerhund gets inside and kills B.J.. Thanks for mentioning that; being stuck within the first 15 minutes of a great game is quite embarrassing, especially when I been gaming since I was 5 years old. :-)

You have to peform the sprint+Slide, by defualt its foward W + Shift+LftCtrl <- ya thats bad input, must be easier on a controller.

Okay, so I looked up the "slide" button and there is no binding for it. Crouch is defaulted to Left Control, and Sprint is bound to Left Shift, and Toggle Right Mode is bound to C. In the large pamphlet inside the game case, it says that C is supposed to be "crouch" and "slide" together. However, it doesn't work for sliding or crouching by default. So...how do I get out of the corridor? I keep getting killed by the damned panzerhund who breaks in at the end of the corridor inside the bomber.

So, to make it clear for everyone: on the PC you have to keep right CTRL, right ALT, and to press BACK (S) to actually see under the door and shoot.

OK i got stuck on my second play through but like they said use the lean function, more specially for PC its left alt button and press back or s to lean all the way down
