Will there be a Steam Pre-load the day before?

Will we be able to preload the game if we pre-order it? It would be nice, because it will likely take me 6 or more hours to download the 50GBs of game.

Don't know but I REALLY hope so. Its a big sucker. That said the download may be smaller than 50 gb. It just ends up extracting to make that 50 gig install.

For example, if I remember right the download for Rage (same id tech 5 engine as New Order) was about 17 gigs and the space it takes up once that is downloaded is 24 gb.

Hopefully, but hopefully even two days before. Because some people don't have good internet connections. But I'm getting my hopes up. I see no point in not having a pre-load, unless the Developers and Publishers wants their game to first be played about 12 hours after the release.

I'd have to agree taking into account every other 10Gb+ game I've bought off of this service. Just check tomorrow and see. If there's nothing by the time your part of the world hits Sunday at midnight then its probably a bad sign. For those with good connections well it won't mean much. For those with bad connections it just might mean another day. Either way we'll all be playing by the middle of the week.

It aint a Console game, lol. It was designed for the PC. The console got extremely bad ports.
