It's the same deal as Rage, it's just that the ones used here are are slightly more detailed. Overall detail still looks pretty low res, but it's better than Rage. Also, beware the incoming 7GB day one patch.

Yea I can already tell this game is going to take up like 80-90GB. If I get this game, I will probably uninstall it after I'm done.

It's going to be 50. Same as the PS4/Xbone versions.

The PS3 version has already been leaked and clocks in at around 20. The 360 version is 30ish. The PS4/Xbone/PC versions are 50, because of the higher resolution megatuxtures.

no it's not, where did you get your info. It's 18gigs compressed on torrents and before the "omgz you said torrent", I'm using that to clarify that information isn't correct, it's more than 18gigs.

The game really actually is 8gb. The Doom beta files are the rest of the 42gb. When they realize they should use higher resolution textures for PCs that can actually handle it, there will be a 64gb update patch.

Source? the paged texture folder for the ps3 version alone is 10gb.. plus the game.resources clocking in at 4gb, and then the different launguages, all together around 20gb on ps3. also the doom beta isnt coming with the game right away from what i'm reading, it's a down the road deal like what EA does with moh/bf
