ZeniMax is known as the owner of id Software (developer of Doom and Quake)
If that's the case, Judging by the disgraceful TESO mmorpg they created and is a disappointment imo, then I figure Meta will give it a 3/10

Kind of sad that Metacritic scores are such a big deal now.

Anyway, mid-to-high 80s would be my guess from watching the livestream. It seems to be a solid, story-driven FPS with lite RPG elements (perks, choices, etc) and other neat features that gaming journalists will no doubt eat up.

That is, unless the game ends up being a horrifically buggy mess on launch (which it could be, if RAGE's launch, and Bethesda's QA track record in general is any indication) or if the campaign itself just completely falls flat on it's ass after the prologue.
