Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order

34 MB patch today?
Well, it is about damn time there was a patch. Although this one is quite small. Does anyone know what the patch contained?

Patch release notes
- Added driver version detection for supported AMD and NVIDIA GPUs
- Added independent VO volume control
- Added audio device selection in Audio Options menu
- Bug fix to prevent anisotropic filtering being disabled every time the player dies
- Enabling multisampling antialiasing through the in-game console will no longer break skin shaders and reflections
- Fix for invalid screen resolutions being set after driver updates or swapping monitors
- “Ultra” settings updated to use lower values for VT Cache and Shadow Buffer size (original values can still be accessed through ‘Custom’ settings)

Thank you to the mod who pinned this for others :)

Can't find patch notes, and I'm also interested in what was changed, if anything. Hopefully we'll get a changelog at some point today.
Indeed, I was starting to worry they were just going to abandon the game. Between the complete lack of patches, DLC news etc. it did not look good. I love the game, but it really needs performance/bug fixes and I would also love an expansion/DLC.
if anyone knows anything please update us!
Am I the only one who got a 2.1 gb update?
The default setting for shadows on Ultra is 4096 now, wasn't it originally 8192? In any case, I was hoping for anti-alising but it doesn't look like they've included it.

That is strange. It was 34 mb for me, and that is the only patch since release (except for the 10GB one that came out at the same time as the game)

Yea the setting options are kinda a joke for a real PC game. They basically bundled a few settins like AA options all into that one quality control option, which is asinine.

Flickering with Vsync seems to be fixed for me. It's finally Wolfenstein time!
Not going to hold my breath on the texture pop-in being fixed. Not with an update of this size, at least.
Who can tell without patch notes ?
Check your folders and files along with the date last modified to give you a clue.
The game still run like crap...
Game has always run perfectly. Curious to what has been changed though.
The following files have been updated:
superscriptx64.dll
WolfNewOrder_64.exe
/base/chunk0.index
/base/chunk0.resources
(all of the "/base/chunk" files through to chunk13.index and chunk13.resources)
/base/gamechunktoinstallchunk.gic
/base/graphicsdriverwarningloc.json
/base/graphicsprofiles.json

No notes yet.
The game still crashes immediately when I set vt cache to ultra. I dont even know why, my vram doesnt max out or anything -_____- At least with it on high it only crashes every half hour :DD

I love this game but man is it buggy.
I was hoping that it would let me play. Apparently not since I don't have wolfconfig in my steamapps folder for Wolfenstein.
