Too hard to hear what they are saying and nothing can be done to over ride that. I use 7.1 surround sound, I tried 5.1 and also just the 2 channel. I even tried my G930 Logitech wireless 7.1 gaming headphones. I tried everything, But no. the characters speaking volume is still way too low. They need to bring out a patch to fix this sol that in setting you can make the characters speaking louder than the over all effect sounds in the game rather than muffling the voice sounds.
- Disable 5.1 surround sound options on Realtek Audio manager
- In the "Speaker Configuration" tab under the Speaker Configuration dropdown box, select "Stereo"
- Tick the box "Headphone Virtualiztion"
- Then, go to the "Sound Effects" tab next to "Speaker Configuration" and select "Loudness Equalisation"
I figured out a fix (hunch) that worked out. Goto your sound settings in windows and disable unused audio device/connections except the one your using. Even tho the others are not connected it seems to cause the game to be confusied.
