THANK YOU IWYM!!!! This worked perfectly for me. And it's so simple/obvious that it's embarassing (in hindsight). Though actually I ducked underneath (not above) the catwalk for cover & kept enough health to kill him with my RPGs. I don't know why I couldn't knock over the robot in all my other attempts? I think this time I hit him square in the robonuts when he was standing in front of me. LOL! Maybe that was it?
Reading some of the other comments in this thread, I'll say that I really like this game. The alternative timeline with Nazi world rule, and all the details associated with that, were fun & interesting. I'm a lame "gamer," I played this on low/medium difficulty (I forget the Bethesda nomenclature, "You Suck" level or something like that), but not the easiest level. I got stuck at a few points but fought my way through. The boss fight at the end was frustrating, mostly the last phase of the fight. I usually try to figure these things out myself, but thanks again to IWYM for the excellent tip.
And I agree with those who thought the ending was lame. Like they ran out of time or lost interest & just sort of shut it off. But overall I enjoy the game & I plan to play it again sometime with the different story branch and/or a higher difficulty setting.
You probably only played The New Order, but Deathshead has been a recurring villain in the franchise since 2001. He was partially responsible for big chunk of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and the main villain of Wolfenstein 2009.
