There's a much easier way to defeat the Deathshead, second part. When you enter the final room, just go to the right and dive above the iron walk (there's a broken part of closest stairs, where you an get faster). Then simply walk forwards and backwards, shooting the guy. That's it. I barely lost 20 HP on Uber.

THANK YOU IWYM!!!! This worked perfectly for me. And it's so simple/obvious that it's embarassing (in hindsight). Though actually I ducked underneath (not above) the catwalk for cover & kept enough health to kill him with my RPGs. I don't know why I couldn't knock over the robot in all my other attempts? I think this time I hit him square in the robonuts when he was standing in front of me. LOL! Maybe that was it?

Reading some of the other comments in this thread, I'll say that I really like this game. The alternative timeline with Nazi world rule, and all the details associated with that, were fun & interesting. I'm a lame "gamer," I played this on low/medium difficulty (I forget the Bethesda nomenclature, "You Suck" level or something like that), but not the easiest level. I got stuck at a few points but fought my way through. The boss fight at the end was frustrating, mostly the last phase of the fight. I usually try to figure these things out myself, but thanks again to IWYM for the excellent tip.

And I agree with those who thought the ending was lame. Like they ran out of time or lost interest & just sort of shut it off. But overall I enjoy the game & I plan to play it again sometime with the different story branch and/or a higher difficulty setting.

The worst part of the ending is, it doesn't even matter storywise whether or not you fight him. Afterall, they were going to nuke the place anyway.

You made sure he died; I'm sure Deathshead had an escape plan or some deeper bunker to hide away.

Yeah, the ending was horrible. There was no build-up and I had to fight a villiain I haven't even seen since the first level. Why should I even care? Showing me a couple of flashbacks is not enough.

You probably only played The New Order, but Deathshead has been a recurring villain in the franchise since 2001. He was partially responsible for big chunk of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and the main villain of Wolfenstein 2009.

perhaps they should do a prequel game that would properly introduce Deathshead to new players. i really only played the original 2d version a long time ago and never really played any of the recent though older games in this series.
