Shoot him until he dies

Which stage of the fight? In the initial stage you have to blow up the two zeppelins on either side using AA guns up the stairs. In the second, aim for the head using the marksmen or your laser weapon and keep recharging and shooting.

Yep, was using the lazers before, switched for the assault rifles and used the rockets, he was taking too much time with the lazers.

Annnd the ending sucked.

Yeah, the ending was horrible. There was no build-up and I had to fight a villiain I haven't even seen since the first level. Why should I even care? Showing me a couple of flashbacks is not enough.

The game was really good but this boss fight almost ruined my enjoyment of the game. Having the boss one shot you while you are trying to cut the fences to get your weapons or to AA to shoot the blimps down is not fun.

The idea is to shoot his shield until he rechargers, then book it to the gun.

What's really pathetic is that I didn't even land the final blow! He died by walking into the fire. GG Death's Head.

I've seen so many disappointing final bosses in the past few years in AAA action games (just thinking about Batman: Arkham Asylum still frustrates me). It's as if they don't even bother with them anymore. Like it's the last thing they design.

I think its more that it is difficult to design, it has to be something more dangerous than what you have already dealt with, and it has to be unique.

I didn't think it was that bad, I think this game HAD to end with some sort of mech to be a true Wolfenstein game, and I thought the final cutscene was good since it leaves a few questions and the possibilty of a sequel. I would play more Wolfenstein. My only real complaint about the ending was the terrible music in the credits...especially after the rest of the soundtrack was so badass.

Zelda bosses where the only ones that seemed to have a decent amount of time put into them....

You are supposed to toss stun grenades at him to buy time to run to the Flak cannons. Every time you grenade him he goes through a long animation where lightning strikes and he cant fire on you.

I beat the encounter. I understand you needed to stun him with weapons and such but the problem is you have to cut out holes in the fence to get them to begin with. The glass barrier doesn't really offer much protection and you can be killed if the boss looks at you wrong. The other boss fights it wasn't a problem because there was ample amounts of cover. If your curious I played on "I am Death incarnate".

The boss fight seemed like it was meant to be trial and error as there wasn't really any verbal or visual cues in the begining as to what to do. The only clue you get is when the boss talks about getting his power from the sky. Not to mention other games train you not to waste ammo shooting at a shielded boss. All and All I really liked the game but that is my take on the last fight.

Those AA cannons annoy me narratively. Story wise... why would you place cannons on the rooftop of your castle that can only turn just enough to fire at the zepplin. Shouldn't you be able to point these things at the sea where the enemy would be coming from? I tried that with both cannons after the first part of that fight and they can't move that far. Both gameplay and narrativily they only exist to take out the zepplins.

I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. This is PART ONE of the final boss. Why isn't anyone walking about the final fight in the hole?
