Wolfenstein audio problems

For some reason after i updated my drivers I have a new problem with the audio, only have of it works. For example when I swing I knife at a wall I hear the "ting" sound from the wall but no sounds from the knife cutting through the air, or firing gun I hear the bullet landing but the gun makes no sound at all, and during cutscenes I cant hear the main character or anyone else talk but out of cutscene I can hear NPCs but not brovski

can anyone help me?

Fixed it, it was my skullcandy plyr 1 headset when I switched to a different headset the audio worked

Im having the same problem my speakers are also skullcandy can you please be more specific about how you dealt with this problem? Im updating my audio drivers to see if that works.

Skullcandy in general doesnt work but I know rage tactic 3d headset works

Rage Tactic 3d headset and my new astro a50 headset both work

Very far after the fact of this thread, but after having the same problems on a PLYR 2 Skullcandy wireless headset, I began troubleshooting.

I went to the PLYR website and performed a firmware update:

Thereafter, I was able to toggle the appropriate configuration and properties:

-Right click Sound in your bottom right system icons tray
-Select Playback Devices
-Under Playback tab, select Properties
-Under Enhancements tab, click the Virtual Surround option
-Under Playback tab, select the Skullcandy device and click Configure
-Ensure Stereo is selected (not Mono)
