Wolfenstein: The New Order

Will Wolfenstein: The New Order work with Windows 10?
Bought Wolfenstein a while back when it was on sale but could not play it because my computer wasn't good enough. I have since upgraded my graphics card and upgraded to Windows 10. I have it downloaded and when I click play you can hear music playing but nothing happens to the screen and then the music stops. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing changed. If anyone has any ideas what I can to so I can play it thanks. Or am I just stuck with a game I can not play?

I'm not a computer person but from what I've been able to find I am up to date for my card.

Same issue, though I've been having it since even before I updated to windows 10. Been keeping up with the newest driver software and tried multiple "fixes" for the game including: skipping the intro movies, running it on compatability mode for other windows versions, running it as the 32 bit version, and so on and so forth.

I've gotten it to work every blue moon and it works just fine but the next time I run the game (without changing any of the settings) it goes back to being unpredictable little ♥♥♥♥♥ it is. Sorry for the rant but the game is so good and it frustrates me that I cant run it because of a few technical bugs.

A clean install of Steam and the games has fixed some of the problems with people direct upgrading to 10. I can't say it's a definite fix but it's always worth a try.

That's funny bc on my end it works fine. I think even better since I have not experienced any glitches yet. However, I am playing the game on custom settings, medium to low. It's because the recent PC I purchased has a Radeon R5 235x. Definitely need to upgrade it and whatnot, but it works just fine except for the scenes. Might have to tweak it but I already played it as such on my laptop so I will leave it at that.

I suggest uninstalling your drivers. Download and install the latest drivers from Manufacturer's website and fingers crossed from there.

I uninstalled Steam and then reinstalled it. Redownloaded Wolfenstein with no problems. I have the icon on the desktop which I didn't have after I upgraded my GPU or to Windows 10 (not sure which).

You can hear the game start in the background and see the icon on the task bar. When you place the mouse over the icon on the task bar you can see the game stating up, but the game will not come up on my monitor. I've tried starting it from in Steam and from the icon on my desktop and it is the same either way.

Anyone have any thoughts? I can try the driver if you think that might help. Thanks

Helped me when you start to roll game, wait for video to be held, after quietly go in the menu and play!

I don't quite think I understand what you mean. I've started the multiply times, tring to open it from the task bar at different points before, during and after the video. When I click on it off the taskbar, my mouse disappears and the only way I can get it back is to ctrl+alt+delete and then hit cancel. I tried right-clicking to open it but then it tries to restart it through Steam and then tells me that it is already running.

I'm gonna try uninstalling my drivers to see if that will help, I just need to get some time to do it and I have never done it before so I need to figure out how to do it too. lol
