The scope can be seen on the right, just like on the LKW, but unlike the LKW when you toggle the right mouse the scope on the "marksman rifle" does not activate.
The tutorial also states that you can toggle from laser to common/regular ammo but doesn't, so I post these question having just purchased the game.
Yeah, that's supposed to happen. The scope only shows up if you're using the marksman bullets, it stays on the right if you're using the lazers. To switch between them, I think the default keybinding is 'C'.
The laser rifle is pretty nice though, you just have to charge it a lot.
I advise dual wielding 2 laser rifles
That feature seems to be broken, the bullet switch.
It think it might only work if you have bullets. If you have bullets and it's not working... I don't know.
Even if your out of bullets, you can still toggle between the 2 options. Made this mistake a lot when i got my grenade launcher on my assault rifle.
If it's only on the Moon, it might be intentional (similar to the white pistols always being silenced, as mentioned above).
Seeing as how no one else can get scope working, and that all the enemies don't drop bullets and no bullets can be found in that mission, plus that's where you first unlock its Laser mode, I'm like 98% sure that's intended.
