Huge dissapointment.

This game is nothing like the previous Wolfenstein. Where are the tons of guns? Where is the Veil? This is just pathetic. And 40 GB??? Why? This game's graphics were total and utter ♥♥♥♥. Lagged on my computer on Normal. And I'm usually able to play any game at max graphics at 60-70 and even 100+ fps (War Thunder which is a pretty pretty game). Before this game had an open world, open quests, a black market from which you buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of upgrades the game offers. I feel like everyone is recommending this game just because otherwise they'll think he is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nazi racist "Schwinehund"(means pigdog in german). I got on the 2009 Wolf and it was better than this turd. That game had a Rocket launcher, sniper, tesla gun, 2 assault rifles, PLASMA RIFLE<333, Flame thrower and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nazi-alien rocket plasma launcher called Leichenfaust 44. On top of that every single piece was upgradeable with at least 5 upgrades. Oh and I forgot the crystal with 4 kick-ass powers which too had upgrades. Game also had 4 bosses(An evil nazi scientist, a huge creature from another dimension, Gast-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-Queen and Hans Gross. New Order is full of ♥♥♥♥. Love story? ♥♥♥♥ that. Upgrades are up to you to find. They don't even tell you to search for them. Space nazis? Who gives a ♥♥♥♥? As long the game actually has some gameplay space nazis are needless. This game is linear(2009 had a Zepelin and an Inter-dimensional mission which kicked ass). All you do is shoot stuff with lame guns. The so much advertised Stealth-Rambo choice is a lie. In most of the levels you are spotted right off. Ugh.. this makes me very sad. Wolfenstein 2009 was my favorite FPS game of all times. It "touched" my heart. While waiting for the 40 GB sequel to download while listening to the sound track and watching the trailers almost made me cry. I don't know whose fault it is but people seem to actually like the game. They act like they've played the past series.0/10 should've stayed with Raven.

the first Wolfenstein game had a knife and 3 guns. Sure this game has only Knife, Pistol, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Tesla Grenades, Laserkraftwerk, and removable Plasma Turrets, but the Assult Rifle has Rocket Launcher secondary fire, and the Sniper Rifle has plasma rifle secondary fire, I personally think it's a bit silly when you have 4 types of pistol, 3 types of assault rifle etc etc, one of each type is fine by me.

You are foold by the 1946/1960 versions. Also the 2009 version included different throwables. The 2in1 weapons concept is silly imho. It's not as awesome as separate weapons. Wouldn't you like a WW2 rocket launcher with nazi alien scope and x4 clip that actually has graphic reload models. I don't think an assault rifle undermount compensates that. The devs were lazy because for owning this anti-nazi franchise you get granted success.

Your rant would probably much more valuable if you had purchased the game in the first place.

You should've played the 2009 version first. And I played the game to tha last mission, where it crashed and I said ♥♥♥♥ it and watched the walkthrough.

It was a very well advertised game, I suppose people let hype and media build things up to where it cannot please them no matter what. The trailers and soundtrack are exquisite for this title and were mind blowing just by themselves, which was nice to see such care being put in for a game title's release. In the end Wolfenstien: the New Order is a very fun, explosive, story driven piece of modern gaming, and my only gripe(s) about it are the short story line, counter balanced by the dual playthrough, and unlockable play modes. Lastly and a minor complaint, all of the soundtrack should have been collectables in game, not just 2 tracks and letters from Anna's cousin... lame!

Well I guess my expectations were wrong... Not the game. It just makes me sad that I won't see a sequel of this game anymore or at least in the nex 4-5 years.

The realism and excess of elements with the super high expectation for graphics makes me sick. Sure a game can look great but how's the gameplay, do I require much patience to play your game, or do I need to be sneaky and invest thousands of hours for no return fun?

The only disappointing part of the game is.... THE GAME IS DAMM TOO FREAKING SHORT.

Ok, i still replay it more than two times and collect everything at 100%. But still i would have prefered more, and by more i don't mean empty hallways that act like filling, but true and fun gameplay like the game have.

This game certainly did have the weapons regardless of your claim that it didn't. But grandted, the weapons lacked some differences. All guns felt kinda same. Read my review for further knowledge on the game.

Indeed, i was kinda hoped to get infinite knifes cheats once you 100% the game xD.

Lack of weapons is not one of this game's shortcomings. The weapons were great and offered enough variation to keep things interesting. I thought they were great.
