Starting random YouTube video when starting the game??? WTF?

What the is happening here? Whenever I start the game obviously some random YouTube video als starts in the background. I cannot see the video, but I can hear the audio, always starts with some recent and localized commercials, which I have actually seen on YouTube recently, and then a random video starts, most of the time in german. This happens immediately when the intro videos of the game begin. The playback stops when game is being closed. So this is obviously linked to the game files. No viruses found. Repair via steam found nothing. No other apps than steam and game are running. Not happening on any other games, tested 5, curiously the german versions of the game doesn't do this aswell. I played this game for the first time ever today. On first start nothing, issue started with the second start of the game. On the first try I had a collectible tutorial open on YouTube in Edge in the background. And it has been exactly this video which has been playbacked on the second start, after that totally random videos. So wtf is happening here?

Steam Overlay reopens last used tabs when restarting games now since the latest client update, close your Steam Browsers before quitting games.

Can't find any open Steam browser as well. Where are they actually? The last update seems very weird in many terms.

Yeah of course, thank you mate, solved the issue ;) I barely use that overlay and I have been searching the desktop app.

I have been encountering this as well, and that explanation is both weird and also makes total sense. Do you know if and when it will be fixed?

Close your Steam Browsers before quitting games or use the Clear Overlay Data option in the game properties.
