Can not play the Submarine Mission

My Keyboard Layout is "E" for forward and "G" for using. I can enter the submarine with "g" but when i accelarate with "e" my caracter leaves the submarine?! What can i do ? In the keyboard configuration "e" is just for "forward move" ! It also displays "g" to leave when i am in the submarine...

err change the keybinds? I mean seriously who uses E instead of W for forward?
