Will the game keep taking away my weapons in every chapter?

First chapter was past then time jump so obviously I start second with no weapons. Makes sense.

But then I collect several weapons during the hospital scene, and drive off with those weapons in the car. There is even a cutscene where Blazkowitz is messing around with an assault rifle in the car...

Then we are driving to the train, I need to clear way and BOOM I suddenly have no weapons! WTF?! Where are all the guns I took from hospital? Blazko couldn't be that stupid as to leave them all at the farm! WTF!

But OK, during driving missions I finally gather a proper set of guns AGAIN. Then we arrive to Berlin and BOOM! I'm locked outside with only a knife!

FFS!!! Are you going to f***ing take away my weapons in every f***ing chapter again? This is ridiculous!

Most of the levels do, but a couple of them don't.

Toward the end you tend to keep them, but even when you don't, they give the weapons back so fast that it hardly matters, with the big exception being the Moon Level. Though, given the context of that one, it would be stupid if it didn't take your guns.

I'm really a hoarder in games, I pride myself in gathering all the things, conserving ammo pretty well and take out most enemies with the minimum number of required shots etc. so I find it extremely annoying to lose my stuff. Once or twice when the context makes it logical is OK, but every mission?! Especially after hospital, it made absolutely no sense at all, to leave weapons behind. :/

Back in STALKER I hoarded a huge amount of money, and then there was a scripted event where you get robbed - and you can get all your stuff back, but not ANY money...

That was the point when I installed a cheat to give myself my money back because that was just total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - I was a millionaire, which took lots of hard work to gather and then ending up with zero? F*** off devs!
