Locked at 60fps?

As it says on the wiki:

"If you experience the speed-up issue, you can try running r_syncatendframe in the console."

Also didn't work for me... It's been about 2 months I bought this game and went to play it now.
I dont know if I still can get a refund, but there is no way to play this or any other FPS game at 60Hz/fps after you get used to 144Hz displays

If it's been 2 months, then no. The refund window is within 2 weeks of purchase and less than 2 hours of playtime.

I think it runs quite smoothly enough at 60 ( even with heavy action scene graphic demands ). Hardware abilities don't inherently necessitate more.

having vsync on is known to cause lag for some people, vsync should only be on if you're having screen tears.
but this game isnt even using vsync. its just locked at 60, and my screen is 144. it looks terrible.

I believe you haven't tried 144Hz monitor... If you like FPS games, please try it running your games at least 90 fps++.. Serious, you'll see a large different and it gives you a MUCH MORE smooth experience.
Believe, if was no big deal I wouldn't be writing it now.

You don't know what you're talking about haha

I suggest running your monitors refresh rate to synch with the games. Evens it all out nicely.
my game was locked to 30 fps though, in case if the processor cant handle all this ♥♥♥♥ it slows the game down.
