Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Stuck on chapter 14
I'm right at the beginning of chapter 14, stuck in a room with a truck load of nazi's. I have a sniper rifle, a pistol, no grenades and my KraftWerk has no upgrades... Any ideas?

Remind me, which one was Ch14? was a while since I finished the game...
the way i did it, is just run through the hall and down the path and it creates a save there so if you can make it, it will save at that point then you can go back up all enemies disappeared and you can collect all the ammo health etc :)
I will have another go, I don't know if i'm skilful enough to do it though.
At worst reduce the difficulty
I hadn't thought of that one :P. Are the upgrades for the LazerKraftwerk optional, because mine hasn't been upgraded at all.
Most are optional so that may be one of the reason you have such a hard time.
Yeh, that and the lack of ammo. I have been a lazy gamer and now i'm paying for it :P.
easy way, use the save pont exploit. legit way, immediately find the officer and kill him with your sniper, he will be at the other end of the room by the door under the second floor overlook. this will stop reinforcements from comming. then duck behind the corner that you started at and pick up the AR and the health upgrade and pick off a few nazzis by the bar area. after a couple of those make sure to load your rocket launcher and peak out to see if you can nail the armoured shotgun guy. after that its all downhill.
So, game over ? I have 20 health, no armor and no ammo. Feels like there are 100 enemies and even one of these big dudes. After it loaded I have like 20 seconds of survival. Basically, as soon as I stick my nose out, I'm dead. If I stay "covered" they're coming at me. :steamsad:

Is there a way to load a previous checkpoint ?

Have a nice weekend :healthvial:
Got it. I had no other chance than to reload the chapter and not wasting all my ammo at the opening scene... It was a breeze then (medium difficulty). :armwave:
Thoes uparades wold realy help you
The game does that a lot after level 12. Throwing the player in a room full of enemys, without ammo, sure beats proper level design & playtesting.
Loved the first 12 levels, turned to meh after that. I'm now in the middle of a boss fight, in a room full of fire and steam. I can't even see where he is.

Final boss gota be hard ye know
That's not the point. The last few levels, including the 3-4 boss fights, feel like a rush job,
compared to the rest of the game. There are a lot of games with great boss fights, filling a room with fire and steam to fight something you don't even see, is just meh.
I had some boss fights that i will never forget, in some time the only thing i will remember about this one is that it was annoying & cheap.
Final Boss essentially forces you to rush, quicker you take him out the better as it only gets harder. Forces an aggressive playstyle which arguably follows the storyline (you chasing him down to finish him off). I can see how it might feel annoying and cheap though as often people don't play the game that way - especially on uber difficulty.
