"Why Torbjorn?" on a wall - what could it refer to?

Yeah, maybe. I also thought it could be something of the sort. That or some contemporary reference or something in someone's memory. I was hoping someone would know for sure.

He's level designer at Machine Games, that's what I found out. In the same level there is also another wall, with the same sentence written on it, just with another name. I saw a screenshot of this and the Dev with this name even commented this screenshot. So I guess it's just an Easter Egg.

Oh, neat, thanks. Didn't think to cross-reference it with the developer studio. It's akin to TC TW in the Underearth level of Quake then. Nice to know.

Don't know about the character, but the causality is more likely to be the other way around since The New Order was released in May 2014 and Overwatch (according to Wikipedia anyway) was only announced on Nov 2014 and released in 2016.

I didn't find the same sentance on the other end but I did fine one about "WHY EMILE"
