Chapter 8 Camp Belica CRASH

Played through the game up to this point with no issues, on high settings.
Now all off a sudden the game just crashes to the desktop without even an error report.
I've verified my game cache and checked that I have the lastest graphics drivers. Can anyone help? I would like to finish the game...

CPU: Intel i7-4790k
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970

I just tried this put all the graphics in low and window mode with vsync on with that I could pass the part where I had the crash then I got back to my graphics configuration

I tried running it on low, windowed with vsync on, still crashed almost immediately.

This method was posted in another thread by Addcoolio, and it seems to be working for me.

Step 1: Go to your wolfenstein file location
Step 2: Create a notepad document and name it steam_appid
Step 3: Open said notepad and type in "201810" (without the quotation marks)
Step 4: Right click the executable for the game and press copy
Step 5: Paste it in the same folder
Step 6: Rename the pasted executable to WolfNewOrder_32
Step 7: Launch the game using the executable rather than on steam

This might be a little late, but I figured something out that might help, because I was having the same exact issue. Download something called "MSI Afterburner" from this website: https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner Run the program, and it will allow you to slow down the core clock and memory clock speed of your GPU. Slow both of them down by about 200Mhz or so, and the crashes have seemed to stop for me.

I got past the problem but only after a (much overdue) upgrade to my motherboard and processor.
