The sequel comes out tomorrow: The New Colossus.
It's length depends on how well you can run and gun.
You could blast through in 6 - ten hours on a lower difficulty setting maybe.
Realistically, 15 hours to find everything.
It is quite the ride, and leads directly into the sequel.
It's not the first.
The first was Return To Castle Wolfenstein.
Then Wolfenstein 2009.
Then TNO.
Then Colossus.
Nope the first was Wolfenstein 3D which was in turn based on two previous games. Hence the 'Return to...' after.
Still this series is a reboot. so it starts with an alternative timeline after Wolf 3D, then New Blood is a reboot of return and then you have Collosus.
So basically this trilogy works as a stand alone and you can apparently play Wolf 3D in the sequel so you have a full package...
You know fully well what I meant.
RTCW, Wolf 2009, Old Blood, TNO and Colossus are all in same timeline. TNO is not a reboot, at least not in a "resetting everything" sense.
wofl3d>Spear of destiny>RTCW>wolf 2009
wolf3d>spear of destiny>old blood>TNO>TNC

This is wrong.
BJ clearly mentions X-Labs from RTCW, and Caroline is in the game too, and she's from Wolf 2009.
TNO is a soft reboot of the entire series and mixes up the games to create a consistent lore for the new universe. the other wolf games had retcons and lore breaks that caused confusion. Tno tried to fix this, but TNC broke the lore again (hitler was dead but now hes not in TNC)
How was he dead?
I don't remember that being mentioned in TNO. Someone in Old Blood apparently mentions that he died, but was RESURRECTED later, but I haven't seen that document
