I've tried everything to try and get things to work but none of them did...
Rolling back to 17.4.1 drivers or older will let the game run again.
This affects only Hawaii and Polaris cards.
If you have AMD RX 5XX GPU you are screwed (like me), because oldest driver that works with those cards is 17.4.3
Luckily I run another computer with a 390X and 16.11.5 drivers, so I reinstalled there.
For 3 hours I was desperately looking for a solution knowing that the game worked for me previously and I'm happy I can play this game again.
Wish it wasn't this hard to experience this game looks fun what a shame.
I found somewhere that with newest 17.5.1 drivers Wolfenstein New Order finally works. First try was crash to desktop after start. I decided to clean up my drivers with DDU and install them again with clean install. After that game launch just fine and works pretty good. So maybe try cleaning with DDU and installing newest drivers like me?
PS. I have RX480.
Cheers.
