When i try launch this game it will take me to a black screen for about a second put my cursor to the middle of my screen and close, then the game in my steam library says its syncing, ive tried almost everything and cant seem to get it to work!

Im running windows 10 and a little bit under the system requirements on my cpu side of things but ive seen people run this game on an i3 so i don't think thats the problem.

I am using a NVIDA card and this "solution" doesnt seem to do anything but cause the same issue. The game just recreates the same files again. Does anyone have anything meaningful?

I JUST got mine working after a few days. Literatly all I had to do was unplug my other monitor and it worked. The game seemed to want to play on both and that is what ended as a crash. I still had to do everything in that link Gl1chy wrote though. Good luck.

I finally got it to work after a few days. I did two things. Changed the name to _32. But that didn't do it. It worked when I went back and downloaded AMD driver, the "minimal" one....that worked. The game started and I am playing. Only problem now is I can't get the headphone audio t work. Speakers work fine.

I had same issue. The game was trying to display on my third monitor (non primary). I disabled my third monitor in windows (the one the black screen was opening to) and the game opened and worked fine on my primary monitor.

Once in game I went to video settings and set the monitor/resolution and saved the settings. I exited the game, renabled 3rd monitor in windows and the game is starting fine.

Dude I can't believe this was the issue. Thanks for saying something about this. I was trying all these work around just to find all I had to do was unplug a monitor.
