dlc pack 1 is supposed to give us mr krabs, zuko, rocksteady and uncle iroh. we already gotten mr krabs and iroh, now we are waiting for rocksteady and then iroh. at this rate iroh might come out at the end of the year.

as for there being anymore character packs after this one? hard to say. look at the game, it's dead pretty much. most likely do to it being made by wierdos at ludocity (that thankfully got fired), being published by gamemill and not bringing the A game when it comes to roster decisions (no timmy turner, no arnold but we get his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grandma, etc)

there WAS a leak on 4chan showing there might be 3 or 4 more packs coming in the future.... BUT i think that was only if the game did well, it didn't.

so yes, we are still getting rocksteady and iroh but the future after that is a bit up in the air. they could just go on to make a NASB3 (hopefully nick chooses a publisher like thqnordic this time so it can actually get recognition) but that's up in the air as well.

and it saddens me greatly that we have NEVER gotten kitty katswell from tough puppy or any more 2000's, 2010's era nicktoons.

3 or 4 more packs? I have been on 4chan as well and i have never heard of this, in fact kinda the opposite.
I heard from trusted sources that the devs want a season 2 but that's 50/50.
I honestly think everyone involved should just let this series die, don't even release the final two characters, no one wanted them any way.
The entire thing has just been an embarrassment and devalued the Nicktoons IP.

I don't really see why they would just not release the last two characters considering they were already announced alongside Krabs and Zuko. They are somewhat questionable decisions for DLC, with Rocksteady being the main TMNT villain rep who isn't even a duo alongside Bebop, and Iroh being the third firebending character in the roster. But even then, I will still try them out because they have potential for fun movesets. That's what really matters in the end in my opinion. Whether or not people wanted them, I think they're cool additions.

Well apparent fun movesets don't mean anything when they're attached to characters people never wanted, this is part of why the game bombed, terrible roster, doesn't matter how fun it all might be.

I'll consider buying this game if they add Luna Loud.:steamsad:

I think the reason the game "bombed" is because of how poorly received the first game was and not its roster. Despite its clunkiness, people enjoyed playing the game, but it fizzled out of popularity after the first few weeks after launch due to the lack of content in the game and it's huge price tag. NASB1 was not full price like Smash Ultimate and other AAA games, but 50 dollars is still way more than what the game is worth in my opinion. Sure, the game did really well financially because of the hype on pre-launch and the price tag, but after a few weeks, nobody seemed to remember NASB1. (I also believe partially why the first game failed as well was because everybody was hyping the game up to be a "Smash killer" when it was never supposed to outright compete with Smash Bros. and this ultimately led to huge expectations about the game being failed but this is a whole other conversation and I don't wanna bore you with an insanely long comment.)

Now cut to the sequel getting released, and this game has way more content and gameplay features than the first game. New campaign, voice acting and crossplay on launch, new characters and stages, you know, the works. The second game is completely different and better than the first in every way, but this didn't convince most people to try the sequel out due to the first game's mixed reception. This led to not as many players on launch as the first, not as many sales as the first, and overall, despite its small community loving the game, myself included, the sequel was destined to being not as successful due to it's predecessor that was NASB1 being such a mixed bag of a game. Simply put, in today's gaming world, first impressions for an audience are everything. The Smash audience that NASB1 tried to cater to didn't enjoy the first, and although the quality of NASB2 is better, this didn't sway others into trying the game in fear that they would get ripped off again.

The roster isn't the clear reason why many people are upset at NASB2, because even then, NASB1 still had a questionable roster selection. You had Helga subbed in for Arnold, Oblina instead of Ickis, Reptar instead of the main babies, the meme-able Hugh Neutron instead of his clearly more popular son, another sole meme pick, Powdered Toast Man, was also there, not every TMNT turtle showed up just like the sequel that came after, etc. NASB1 also had a weird roster with weird gameplay. NASB2 has some questionable choices, too, like cutting Lincoln, Helga, Toph, Sandy, Leo, Mikey, etc. But this was to focus more on the gameplay itself rather than the roster. So to answer your dilemma, in my opinion, although both games didn't have a perfect roster, NASB1's reception ultimately sealed the downfall for NASB2.

The roster is a big reason, it alienated multiple Nickelodeon fanbases. Even if this were the first game people would reject it for how bad the roster is.
The roster just isn't good, like i said it's part of the reason, not the entire reason, but to act like the roster isn't a factor in the game's failure is just wrong.

roster falls under, cant please everyone
they took what they could get unless this is a direct nick release
then they had to pay per copyright, even if there were no copyright
you can only add so many characters
smash bros over time even added more over time per each new game then later dlcs
if this game had shined more who knows who could have been brought in
but the 1st must of done well enough to garnish a second
just like the racing games
complaints serve us to get nowhere really other then to share opinions
some complaints i say go too far towards the game, one saying they should scalp the last seasonpass chars and end it? honestly?

honestly its a decent game, every game has its pros and cons
even smash bros had returning chars and chars that would leave in new versions

I do think that it is a reason why people are negative about the game, but like I said, the first game's roster was questionable as well, and there was plenty of hype surrounding that game still. I feel like if NASB2 was the first game instead of NASB1, there would be much less negativity surrounding the game, and I feel like people would be less hesitant to try out the game despite the roster. The reception of the first game kind of soiled the reputation of NASB2 and NASB as a franchise. This ultimately led to people being more harsh and negative about each of the game's faults. If NASB1 was received positively I think people would be more open to the roster and its individual shortcomings had the first game not tainted its reputation a little bit.

No offence but those excuses are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The previous game had a better roster so there's no excuse for it getting worse, also this is a Nickelodeon game, they gave the devs the rights, no one had to pay for them, this isn't some separate thing that as Nickelodeon characters as guest characters.
"Can't please everyone"? Oh please, the roster pissed off the majority as proven by how much worse the game did than the first one.

While i agree the first game's roster was questionable in hindsight it wasn't as bad as the sequel's. Not to mention how people are now turning on the first game's roster as well now that all the hype for it dyed and the honeymoon phase is over.
And i do not believe that if NASB2 was the first game then things would have been better, all NASB2 has over NASB1 is the gameplay but that only keeps the competitive players and not the casual players, especially when the gameplay is made to be more competitive than casual. Casual players will look at the roster and stay away from it, especially fans of the shows in the roster as well as fans of Nickelodeon as a whole. One look at the roster and they can tell that the devs behind the game don't care. Admittingly same with NASB1 but people back then were blinded by hype,k and really that's the only change that's happen if NASB2 came first, that one would have the hype blindness instead but that one would not last long either due to the roster and the more competitive focus.
Yeah the game has a campaign mode but it's so bare bones and the interactions between characters so limited.
And no, the voice acting and items does not get applause as it's the bare minimum, that includes a campaign mode, it's a bare minimum, with the crossover aspect being below the bare minimum.
Also, if the game itself really is as better as people say it is, well that just proves how bad the roster is as if it's better then that should be able to bring people in, but it didn't, because that's not what brings people in, it's the roster, and as proven time and time again a game can have the most fun gameplay ever but with a terrible roster no one would want it, just look at Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite.

It was just one swear, like i said no offence but if you didn't like that then sorry.
I admit i might have been too harsh on you, so i'll just politely say that i just say you're wrong, and i mean no offence by it.
