To those who are new

Hello. NASB fan here. I just want to clear up some miscommunications going on in this forum and the forum of NASB:
1. "The first game failed." That is actually incorrect. https://gamesensor.info/news/nickelodeon_all_star_brawl_sales__in_first_month_on_steam

2. "The game is dead." Not quite. The game still has four more DLC characters to release, is still being loved by many players from the first game and tournaments are being hosted. So while the player base "could" be a little higher, it's plenty enough to warrant a 3rd game.

3. "The sales are low." That is to be determined. The game could sell over 3-5 million copies, if GameMill gives Fair Play Labs and Ludosity more time.

4. "The DLC is a rip off." While the outfits being sold as DLC is indeed questionable, it is not a rip off, since every character will have a new outfit in one bundle. Plus while the season pass characters, may not be what everyone was hoping for mostly, you always have NASB3 to look forward to (possibly) in two-three years. Be patient and hopeful.

5. "The game has bugs/glitches." Give it time, for this game is getting updated/patched constantly. That's a lot of dedication.

6. "The first game is better." While there are some aspects of the first game, that may make some rare few, like the previous entry more, the second game improves on every issue that the first game had. Since the issues were far too many, they had to build the sequel from the ground up. (and possibly the 3rd entry too)

7. "My favorite characters/stages from the 1st game are gone." This was very disheartening for a lot of people, but this has been an ongoing business tactic and decision for fighting games, since the first Street Fighter game. While some fighting games like Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Under NIght In Birth, Samurai Shodown, King of Fighters and a few others, were able to break the curse, most fighting games have to omit characters/stages, for the sake of time/most developers, are always at the mercy of their publishers. Time constraints are a thing and there is nothing that can be done about it. See this as an opportunity, to look forward to the next 11 characters that could be omitted in the 2nd game and think about the new 11 characters that will be replaced. (just an educated guess)

So take it from me who has issues and likes both games. Play them, have fun and simply choose what is best for you. Happy holidays everyone!
