Searching for opponent I see only, for 1vs1 2vs2 Free for all and for ranked. Haven't been able to get into a single match so far, even with cross play enabled.

Wierd. It might either be a glitch, or you might have to change your region to the US.

Yeah, even Australia didn't make a change. I will give US or Europe a try, but latency would be bad then. I will still see if it works at least.

Maybe try asia/australia when afternoon then.

if you still have good connection, at evening, try playing on Europe. Some people begin playing online at that time.
Even about 200ms on there (both 2 & 4 player), It's still playable. Both paired with cross-platform player or not thanks to the rollback netcode.

I can connect and play with USA server with about almost 300ms (both 2 & 4 player), but it's seems begin lag if your connection side is sluggish low.

TIPS for asia/australia player:
If you still really want to play on europe or USA, play around 7/8PM to 9/10AM GMT+7, they mostly populate only on that timeframe
