Dirt Showdown on Windows 10

This game works great on my Windows 10 install. All I needed was to downlaod the latest Windows 10 Nvidia 64 bit driver for my GTX 970 card. The Windows 8 driver no longer works at all. I haven't tested my printer yet, but I've found no problems yet with Windows 10. For all I know some older hardware or games might have compatibility problems, but haven't found any yet.

Nah, it doesn't. It's just new and most of the software is not optimised for Windows 10 yet.

im having a really bad time with 10 it wont recognise my blu tooth chair,or phone,also wont connect to my printer or sync with my email, and cortanna...............well the less said about that the better lmao.

"I had the same problem (also with GRID Autosport). I'm guessing that it has something to do with their DRM. Basically, I deleted the appmanifest file and had Steam re-run the inital setup. Both games now work.

Steps:

1). Close Steam
2). For DiRT Showdown...delete "appmanifest_201700.acf" from your Steam folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_201700.acf)
3). Start Steam
4). Right-click on DiRT Showdown and select Install Game
5). Wait for Steam to import files and possibly do a quick download (mine did).
6). Enjoy the game."

-CPU: Intel Pentium G2020 @ 2.9GHz (2 cores)
-GPU: Sapphire R7 250X Vapor-X 1GB GDDR5
-RAM: 2 x Kingmax 2GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz (total 4GB)
-HDD: WD Caviar Green 500GB
-MB: MSI H61M-P20 (G3)

Did you make sure you exited Steam beforehand? Right-click the Steam emblem in your taskbar or 'Exit' from the drop-down at the top-left of Steam.

Just installed DiRT 3 Complete Edition. Same problem :(

P.S.: Any other Steam/Origin game works perfectly, except DiRT 3 and Showdown

in my problem the game stop working...until today...i lunch the game ,apear the logo of Dirt Showdown and next go down...and dont have nay message about error or anything...i try all,instal all again,reinstal again and again and nothing...i open the location of the game on steam and i only have crashing logs nothing more...

I finally solved the problem
I just had to perform a Error-check (right click your Steam partition -> Properties -> Tools tab -> Check Now). It will take some time, but if the above method is not working for you, this might work.

nop not working just some thing...the game open and goes down right away...some thing i dont have any message of a error or other things... when i go to folder game i have this ( showdown_avx_738098_crash_2015_8_11T17_2_2C0.mdmp ) and this ( showdown_avx_738098_crash_2015_8_11T17_2_10C0.mdmp ) 2 crash becouse it was the 2 times i try start the game...the game just shut down when start....
