Is online Multiplayer dead?
i heard its only local multiplayer now, no servers, or noone playing.

There is no Racenet support here any more, but that doesn't affect online mode at all.
Online is close to death as it has been for like two years now, but you still find a few people playing if you pop in at the right time, I am playing in a 5-player-session right now for example and spent like 3 hours online yesterday.
