Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ Game

Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ Game

This is what you SHOULD all be concerned about...
All you guys going on about bad graphics are just trolling. There's nothing wrong with the graphics, unless you also find "My Time at..." games and those like them also bad graphics. The graphics of both games are very similar in nature and quality. I would say that personally, the graphics are, of course, fine (people going on about graphics must have some other agenda). I will say, though, that the gameplay looks too shallow for me.

******
What you SHOULD be concerned about is that this game is now owned by a PRIVATE EQUITY company. The company bought up a huge company of which this game and the smaller company owning it is a part of. A private equity company is a company that buys up failing businesses, usually selling them piece by piece. Although the fact that they are continuing the development, and extended time development at that, of this game is a little unusual - they haven't just cancelled it, so that is a plus, and highly unusual for such a company. But I would forewarn you all that, charming as this game looks (I was interested until I found this stuff out), that being owned by a private equity firm, the game is VERY highly likely to be one of those "finished...kind of...and dumped on the market as is with no further support" type games. They will probably fix major game-breaking bugs and dump it. THAT is what you all should be considering before buying this game.
*******

If you like what is already there and are happy to buy it as is anyway because you love Hobbits etc, then sure, buy it. The game looks charming and what's not to like about a game inspired by the Tolkein world? Nobody should be telling you what to buy or not to buy. This cancel culture is ridiculous!! For goodness sake, make your own decision instead of following the herd for once!!! Just be aware of the facts and the situation of this game and make an INFORMED decision. There's nothing wrong with the graphics - they are about the same as most of the other games in this genre.

THis is a specific art form and there is nothing wrong with it at all. If anything its like the pages coming to life. THere is a lot of excitement for a pixel artform cozy game like this. I've never been into cozy games but this one is different and is very enjoyable (play test). To just kick back and relax. PS cooking gets harder and you need to be more precise.
They look cheap to me. I prefer realism, especially with how incredible the movies look.

the graphics are ugly, especially the character designs

The graphics and art style are absolutely ugly, if you like them good for you but i find them repulsive.

WHAT? Capitalism??? ON MY GAMES? Games are made by private companies which only focus it´s to increase their fortune now?? NOT ON MY WATCH.

I cannot belive what I´m reading here, this will not stand, game developing will return to the hands of the worker after our revolution like in the good old days!!!

Thank you for informing us brother, please send me your adress so I can send you the tools to instaurate the revolution on your sector.
