Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ Game

Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ Game

Delayed to July 29th
Little bit annoyed personally, since we were so close to launch, although they say it´s for ironing features and make sure all platforms get a similar experience (not sure what to think of this second part, as this generally means we PC gamers get the short end as we are the ones losing content in favor of smaller platforms, specially for games that will launch on multiple ones like this one), so if it all translates into improvements, better for all.

Still now Wanderstop will come out before, which I feel has some of the same cozy vibes, a similar artstyle, gameplay looks similar on the open world (prob not so much on the crafting mini-games). Thoughs? You care for this delay or you think it´s a good thing if it means a better product in the end?

Ops, I used the old launch date hahaha, didn´t even notice, thanks for pointing it out
no problem :)

but yea its a shame that it was delayed by so many months, oh well, maybe they can use this time to make the graphics a little bit more prettyer and colorful, some of the screens look bad

Having reviewed the current materials available for this game & finished reading the works of J.R.R. Tolkien - I won't be purchasing this one. Those that want to play it will do so. The majority of us, that see this game as presented to us, will walk past it. It certainly is no where near the level of a Return to Moria recent release.

I hope they reconsider the pricing on it as this appears to belong 3/4 generations back in the PS1/2 era for programming & gaming.

Cool, didn´t knew you were friends with every steam user.

I still don´t see why you posted this here, I´m asking for the dealy to people interested in the game. You not buying it, and forgive me bluntness, it´s irrelevant for this topic and I pressume for most people on this forum to be honest.

You don't need to befriend the entire steam userbase to know where this title is heading bro. Anyone can read the room.
I'm disappointed in the delay too; it looks really good from what I've seen from early access playthroughs and was the game I was looking forward to the most for this month. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to gaming and graphics as long as the game itself is fun and has good storytelling. But, if it's full of bugs that's different and in that case I can wait.
THis could backfire on them, it isn't the first delay. I may loose interest in it if it doesnt have alot of content .

It isnt a very advanced game to have to be delayed another 4 months.

Making me feel hesitant about the developers abilities.

for now we are removing from our wishlists, may check in on it later in the year.

I like when people refer to two of the greatest eras of gaming as a bad thing.
