Hey Disco, I'll try to help you with that but i have to give a spoilers alert for this.
There are a few things you can do.
How to Prepare for a Boss Threat
[Farming & Mining] at the [Mountains] or the [Animal Beasts] at the [Farms] quests from CR16+.
How to Beat it
Usually T2 Excellent Foods are great, but even T1 can go a long way to get them in good shape.
Failing a Boss Threat:
Now I have 50 Heroes with all the craftable gear bonuses they could wish for, and no one wants to do Imminent Threat Goblin quests anymore. They are mostly too high CR, I usually wait for the few newer Heroes to complete them as I priority mark them, but it takes long.
It would be nice to see the CR of the Heroes when I am Reserving the quest for specific adventurers, not having to go back and forth between Quest list and Heroes list.
The game concept is new and interesting, quite enjoyable so far, but can get tedious to manage later on. I think some more quality of life improvements could benefit gameplay, like being able to see what Tier your items are when selling to Trader, sometimes you have 20+ items with varying names in several different stores. My only current guide is, lower item price means lower tier.
Also I think off-handed Daggers and Swords should be the same as normal main-hand Daggers and Swords when crafting, there really is no need for extra categories, they are practically the same thing, just harder to mange especially since you can't distinguish them after crafting.
This will be available in the next patch.
You are not wrong, for the most part more money = higher tier, as higher tier items require more resources and higher tier resources to craft is safe to assume they are always more expensive. You Can sort the Trader list by clicking the inventory you wish to sort twice in the trader menu.
With that said i'll look for ways to improve the experience and perhaps show the Item Tier in someway.
Off-Hand Weapons Belong to a different category as they can only be equipped with weapons that allow for off-hand equipment and their training cost is lower. You can identify Off-Hand weapons by their Picture as they always show as Hilt up and Blade Down unlike their counterparts.
You can also Filter your inventory to show Off-Hand weapons in the inventory menu, to manage & track your current stock.
Thank you, love the game.
