MMO?
The definition of an MMO has changed over the years, but is this a game that lives and dies by the life of the servers running it? Or is it more like an MMO-lite like Destiny or whatnot? Since the game is developed by a small team, combined with the screenshots on the store page, I'm not expecting this to be the size of World of WarCraft, and quite frankly, that's preferable; even if the main selling point is online multiplayer, will it be playable offline/LAN?

Hi &rew! You're absolutely right, MMOs have definitely evolved over the years. We are focused on making gameplay experiences that are both engaging and challenging - designing a progression experience that allows you to play at your own pace without feeling like you might fall behind without constant grind. Starkeepers has a server authoritative client-server structure, so content will not be playable in offline/LAN

That's unfortunate to hear, but thanks for the response.

MMOG = Massively multiplayer online game which does not mean LAN/Offline. TitanQuest and Diablo are (semi)offline RPG's. MMO's are never offline.
