Enigmox and the Teumessian Fox
I was recently reminded of the tale of Laelaps and the Teumessian Fox and their following ascension as the constellations Canis Major and Canis Minor respectively, when I considered its possible relation to Rotwood's very own vixen the Enigmox.
Enigmox is introduced as a huge illusory vixen capable of making mirror images of herself, teleporting around the battlefield and evading attacks. If you were to fight her imbued form using a protoweapon, you'd even get a unique parry ability (which I personally hope will be changed to something more flashy) which blocks any incoming damage from one attack and provides guaranteed crit for a little while. All in all, a boss built for speed and mischief.
Then you look at the Greek legend, the Teumessian Fox (also known as the Tesumessian Vixen). A giant, sometimes depicted as monstrous, beast sent by the gods to terrorize the people of Thebes. It was a legendary creature destined never to be caught. The only possible solution the hero Amphitryon could find was sending Laelaps, a dog that was destined to always catch its target, to hunt her down.
This led to a paradoxical chase that ended with the two turning to stone, and being sent to the stars as constellations.
While the Enigmox can be defeated, she does reward you with a stone heart like every boss in the game which I'd say is.... good enough.

What do you think, could the Teumessian Fox be one of the inspirations for babygirl Enigmox?
