Different characters different stuff?

Trailer looks pretty cool, combat looks like it'd be fun. Maybe it's a bit early to tell but are the characters mostly for looks? or do they get different weapons and the like? or can anyone wield any weapon?

It'd be great if it were a RPG where we could make characters instead of choosing from a list and feel like were part of the city of Rotwood like how the old saints row did with Steelport.

From what it looks like, we only get predefined characters atm, but there will be customization options later.

sounds like it ll be a pretty fun game, specially if character depth plays into combat.
